Samurai Spirits" is the generic name of a fighting game and series of fighting games set in the Tenmei - Kansei period of the Edo period, produced by SNK (formerly) in 1993. It is also sometimes abbreviated as "Samuspi". Outside of Japan, the title is "Samurai Shodown", and most of the series has been renumbered.
